Case Study
Sukuri Protocol needed two things at once: a crypto subscription platform for creators and businesses, and a full-featured business dashboard. I was the sole designer, owning everything from research to final handoff.
Web3 businesses were stitching together Web2 tools that weren't built for on-chain payments, wallet-based identities, or token-gated access. They couldn't invoice in crypto, manage subscribers on-chain, or track business performance in one place.
The brief was clear: design a product suite that lets any business operate entirely on-chain — subscriptions, invoicing, payroll, customer management — with a UI that feels familiar and trustworthy, not intimidating.
I conducted competitive analysis across Web2 SaaS tools (Stripe, Notion, QuickBooks) and Web3-native alternatives to identify gaps. I ran 6 stakeholder interviews with crypto business owners to understand their actual workflows.
Key insight: users trusted Web2 dashboards because they were familiar. The biggest barrier wasn't crypto — it was visual complexity and unclear affordances.
Key findings:
I started with low-fidelity wireframes in FigJam to map all user flows across both products: the subscription platform and the business dashboard. Once flows were validated with the team, I moved to high-fidelity in Figma.
The design system became the backbone — reusable components for tables, cards, charts, wallet displays, status indicators, and form patterns. This meant engineers could build faster and the product stayed consistent as it scaled.

Business Dashboard covered:
There were no established design patterns for on-chain business tooling. Every decision — how to show a wallet address, how to represent pending blockchain transactions, how to make "payroll in crypto" feel safe — required first-principles thinking.
Working as the sole designer also meant I had to prioritise ruthlessly. I focused on the highest-traffic flows first and built the design system in parallel, so every screen I added benefited from the components already in place.
By using interactive prototypes throughout the process, I reduced back-and-forth with engineering significantly. Developers could experience the intended behavior directly in Figma rather than interpreting static specs — cutting review cycles by approximately 30% and shipping screens faster.

About
I'm Anthony Littlejohn, a Senior Product Designer and Business Operations Manager with over 10 years of experience across Web3, gaming, SaaS, and B2B industries.
My edge isn't just good design. It's that I understand how businesses operate. I've run ops, acquired partners, built growth strategies, and shipped full products, not just handed over files. I also leverage generative AI to accelerate workflows and prototype faster.
I'm looking to bring this blend of design thinking and operational experience to a world-class product team, wherever great work is being done.
Outside of work: gaming, boxing, and watching food recipes on YouTube.
